I was mad hype when I got home from school today and saw that Sir Michael Rocks of The Cool Kids had dropped his project "The Rocks Report". This is Sir Michael Rocks first solo project but he has always been on my top artist list. He has really been doing his thing with features on albums and projects from Curren$y, PacDiv, and others. I listened to the whole thing all the way through and I must say that it is very dope with a lot of smooth tracks. The tape features appearances from Sir Charles(Chuck Inglish), Like and Mibbs of PacDiv, DJ Thunder, Trademark the SkyDiver, Latif and Phil Ade. Sir Michael Rocks' unique lyricism pairs well with production from Chuck, Tyehill, Madlib, Ski Beatz, and others. A few dope tracks from this tape include "Bahamas" "Hate Me Too" "Sunshine" "Deal Went Sour" "Livin' it up" "Summer Song" "Nympho" and "Over and Over". This is a great project and has me anticipating other solo projects from him in the future.
