This is my first expiremental project, "Love Saved the Day" (LSD). Making This project was really fun for me. This is truly an expiremental project in its true sense. I approached each track with no aim or direction and just went with the flow. I really just wanted to explore how sound could be altered and manipulated to produce something entirely unique and creative.The resulting outcome was a collection of sounds, that inspire thoughts and emotions...Love Saved The Day.

Today Rocksmith dropped the Kendrick Lamar- A.D.H.D video produced by Phenomenal Director Vashtie. A.D.H.D is one of my favorite tracks off of "Section.80" and I'm estatic that Kendrick Lamar hooked up with my favorite director Vashtie for some dope visuals. Curren$y - Verde Terrace (hosted by DJ Drama) Review and Download

Curren$y dropped tthe mixtape Verde Terrace hosted by DJ Drama today and I've been bumping it since I got home. The tape was dropped under the alias "Spitta Andretti" which seems befitting given his well known love of muscle cars. My first thought upon hearing the opening track "Job" was I hope DJ Drama doesn't ruin this tape by talking over the tracks(which has become so characteristic of him.) My second thought was "Spitta does it again." Curren$y never fails to deliver a classic, quality project for his listeners. This tape is no exception. But when  I actually heard the track I was really impressed. This song mixes the right amounts "basedness" and psychadelia together, slows it down to a daze enducing speed, and chops it up with an authentic Houston feel. One word, DOPE! The next Air Jordan 5 release are the White Obsidian 5's are scheduled for a July 5th release. I actually like these a lot more than the Wolf Gey 5's that were released recently. I plan to cop these this summer, while waiting on the Black Cement-Grey Jordan 3's to be released next winter.

I've been listening to this tape all night. This is From the Westside With Love by west coast rapper Dom Kennedy.  Dom Kennedy has gained an outstanding buzz since I first started listening to him. Dom Kennedy has earned his spot in the forefront of the emerging generation of west coast rappers that are taking over. On this tape he raps about money, clothes, and women(topics which are found present on just about every album), but he also takes time to talk about love, identity,  ambition and pride for his area . My favorite tracks on this tape are "In Memory of" and "1997" both of which listen to just about everyday.  This is the perfect tape to play while riding around town, with your top down.

New Balance 999 X Concepts

I was just looking for a dope pair of  New Balances to buy for this summer and I came across these. These New Balance 999's designed by Concepts were inspired by late president John F. Kennedy, and nicknamed "The Kennedys". The design of these sneakers reflect Kennedy's love of New England's sailing history. This sneaker's colourway is trimmed in the classical  colors red, white, and blue and feature tan highlights. There is a semaphore pattern grid used in the foot bed while gray and khaki accents ground the shoe. These kicks are the result of a keen eye for detail and feature a lot of tiny details including nylon paneling and CNCPTS flag logos. The launch of the New Balance 999 will be April 16 at Concepts in Cambridge, MA. The 999's will also be accompanied by related products including: a premium sail polo, 5-panel duck brimmed cap, artisan sail-lace tee, semaphore tote bag, signature Rayban Wayfarers, bucket hat, monkey fist key chain, and a handmade rope-bracelet from Nantucket. hit the jump for more views.

A Look Inside: Nerdy

 I know I've been slacking due to some technical difficulties, but heres the newest A Look Inside: featuring  the Nerdy brand which has a very dope purpose. “Nerdy brand is a style platform that serves to reverse the set definitions in culture. First with the way intellectuals are defined and treated, then with how we define the quality of our lives. Ultimately, Nerdy is a push against anti-intellectualism. Think of ‘Nerdy’ as cultural combat on behalf of those that may not fit into the finely cut mold of the commonly expected and accepted.” Nerdy is a brand that celebrates the diversity and the differences that makes each and every one of us unique. With their dope concepts and outlooks I must say that Nerdy is a brand after my own heart.

I was just talking to this girl in my class today about rain boots. She had on a pretty dope pair of coach rain boots. Since a kid I have always wanted a pair of rain boots for some reason. These are definitely a way more masculine alternative to those coach ones though.
